Deputy Chief Adjudicator
Ms. Bo Kyeong Kwon
Bo Kyeong (Jennifer) Kwon studies sociology at Harvard College. She is currently taking a year off; she recently came back to Korea and is interning at TicketMonster Inc. She is a proud graduate of Hankuk Academy of Foreign Studies, but she is also super excited to meet new debaters from other high schools in Korea. Her favorite extracurricular activity in high school was, of course, debating. Bo Kyeong is very excited to participate in KHSDC VII, since she made her first debut as a debater in the first KHSDC. She enjoys singing, watching movies, sushi, and tapioca bubble tea. Although she is not crystal clear about what she should become or do after college, she hopes to find happiness in everything she ends up doing. One of her favorite movies is Forrest Gump, and she really likes the famous quote, “Life’s a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.” She also tries her best to “dream big yet relish in small pleasures in life.”
Tabulations Director
Mr. Hoonik Chang
Hoonik Chang is excited to be part of a tournament that launched his debate career as a student back in 2006. Hoonik came across debate during his freshman year at high school and ever since, he has been involved in numerous debate competitions both domestic and abroad, including the first ever KHSDC. He was a member of his high school debate team for all three years and was also a member of the Korean national team for international competitions such as the World Schools Debating Championship (WSDC) 2007 and the Karl Popper Debating Championships 2006. Some of his accomplishments include: KHSDC I 2nd best speaker, KHSDC II quarter finalist and 7th best speaker, and KHSDC III First Runner-Up. Hoonik is an alumnus of Daewon Foreign Language High School class of 2008 and is currently attending Brown University working towards a dual concentration in Computer Science and Visual Arts.

I am a qualified judge from England living in Changwon. Please notify me of any future debate tournaments in Korea.
